Unidentified, Denver Colorado
Central Denver has a large number of traditional styled churches, of which this is one. Taken from my pickup truck window while stopped at an intersection, I was unable to identify it.
Hi. That's 23rd Avenue Presbyterian Church (the historic name), in the Curtis Park/Five Points neighborhood of Denver. This building was recently saved by the non-profit organization, Historic Denver, Inc. Here's some info from their website: ""The 1883 Gothic Revival Church sits at an intersection where Denver’s two street grids meet, making its site particularly visible to the surrounding neighborhood. The Church is currently home to the 430 Years Church of God in Christ, a small African American congregation of limited means who nonetheless provide services to the homeless, including healthcare workshops. As part of its Sacred Landmarks program that strives to help urban congregations remain in their historic buildings, Historic Denver took the project on so that this lovely building could remain both an architectural and a community resource. The two phases included replacing the failing roof, restoring the masonry and tower louvers, and restoring the beautiful stained glass windows. Thanks to a multi-party effort that included the architects offering reduced fees and the congregation undertaking minor interior repairs on its own, this neighborhood landmark is in good shape once more; and, thanks to an easement held by Historic Denver, it is also protected into perpetuity."
