France Memorial Presbyterian Church (Victory Baptist Church), Rawlins Wyoming

This is the France Memorial Presbyterian Church in Rawlins, which was built in downtown Rawlins in 1882. The Gothic style church is still in use, but today is a Baptist church.  The substantial stone structure is one of the oldest churches in the state.

First Baptist Church, Worland Wyoming

This is the First Baptist Church in Worland Wyoming.  I"m not entirely certain how to categorize the architecture of this church, which has a certain New England style to it.

First Baptist Church, Yale Oklahoma

This is the First Baptist Church in Yale, Oklahoma. This particular church style is surprising in this context. The town of Yale is fairly small, and this is a substantially built Greek revival style church.  I don't know the age of the church, but Yale was obviously a fairly substantial town earlier in the 20th Century and this church likely dates to that period.

Fellowship Baptist Church, Yale Oklahoma

This stone church is located in the small Oklahoma town of Yale.  In some ways, its appearance causes me to suspect that it was converted to this use from some other use, but at the same time it's general shape supports the idea that it has always been a church.  Otherwise, I have no information on it.

This is the First Baptist Church in Jackson Wyoming. The photograph was taken in poor light, but the church is an impressive modern wooden structure.

First Baptist Church, Salt Lake City Utah

These photographs were taken from a rented car window, so they are less than ideal. At any rate, this is the First Baptist Church in Salt Lake City Utah. The photographs do not really depict this church very well, which is quite large and has a classic English look to it.

Grace Bible Baptist Church, Casper Wyoming

This church, Grace Baptist Bible Church, is located just off of Second Street in Casper Wyoming. It is styled in the manner of many churches built in Casper after World War Two, but I don't know when it was built. Some time prior to 1960 in any event.

I actually was not aware that this church was here, being located on a neighborhood street I would not have had the occasion to normally travel down, but I ran across it doubling back to take the photograph of the church located in the post immediately above this one. This church is located one block away from that church.

First Baptist Church, Casper Wyoming

This is the First Baptist Church in Casper, Wyoming. It's one of the Downtown churches in Casper, in an area that sees approximately one church per block for a several block area.

This particular church was built in 1949, and sits on the same block as Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
